INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1.

READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (FUEL SENDER GAUGE)

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream ON.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.

(e) According to the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER - FUEL SENDER GAUGE AND BODY GROUND)


(a) Disconnect the H37 meter connector.

(b) Disconnect the Q1 gauge connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

INSPECT FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY


(a) Remove the fuel sender gauge.

HINT:

  • for 2UZ-FE 2UZ-FE FUEL: FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL (2008 Sequoia) .
  • for 3UR-FE 3UR-FE FUEL: FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL (2008 Sequoia) .

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
